Main House

Built in 1790, the property was owned for 150 years by the Whitford family, successful Merino sheep farmers. Constructed with hand-hewn beams and whole tree trunks — with bark still intact — the property exudes old-world Vermont charm. It features two fireplaces, a comfortable Library, Great Room and newly-renovated kitchen.

The East Room, for example, offers a king-sized bed, complimented with a new, natural latex, organic wool and cotton mattress. Furnished with antiques, original artwork, and private bathroom, the East Room invites guests who seek relaxed, Vermont country living. The home also features outdoor covered porch and newly-renovated deck for reading, yoga or enjoying the views and listening to the birds.
